Share the Meal initiative

The Inclusive Foundation and Howard Academy have partnered up to support a cause carried out by the United Nations World Food Programme. Share the Meal is an initiative with an easy to use platform that provides children all over the world a meal for one year. This year the focus was raising funds for the Syrian refugee children in Lebanon. Feel free to contribute to our team #InclusivaShareTheMeal on the Share The Meal app!

What we found out

Many children are not aware of the realities that other children face around the world. Together we are creating awareness and empowering others to see the bigger picture. Below is a short clip about the Share the Meal app and how the World Food Programme is fighting towards a world of Zero Hunger. Just a small donation of 50 cents can feed a child for a day!

How we are going to help in this project

The Inclusive Foundation has partnered with Howard Academy and their students and staff to educate the students about the Share The Meal mission. Many of the students are donating 50 cents on Fridays and wearing jeans to school instead of wearing their traditional school uniforms. Wearing jeans represents a meal for a day to another young child in another part of the world - currently Share The Meal is supporting children in Lebanon and Yemen.
